Runs from one combination will NOT alter E.T. or Throttle Stop Predictions for another. For instance, a run made at Bandimere at 7800 Density Altitude will not change the analysis and E.T. Prediction of a run made in Joliet at 1250 Density Altitude.

1- We have a form with 8 Tabs across the top, Each Tab is like a separate new form. The tabs are labeled VIEW DATA, DOWNLOAD, WATCH LIST, PRINT, SETUP, DELETE, and Ladder.

The View All Runs Tab has all the downloaded runs to that point, with Filter boxes below that allow you to see just one class, or one day, one driver, or say all the A/FIA cars for example. You can print the entire list organized by class, or you can print the filtered list.

The View Your Runs Tab is where your car's info is stored. Click on Download and your runs are displayed. Double Click on the run, and a form pops up to verify the run number and combination you want to use. The run is entered into Crew Chief Pro 7.00 automatically, and if you are using a paging weather station all the weather is entered also. The View Watch List Tab has just the cars you want to track separate. For example I want to track Peter Biondo, I simply double click on his run and a menu will appear that says SEND TO WATCHLIST.  As soon as I enter their number then all their runs for the entire weekend will appear. The Print Tab allows you to print every car (probably not a good idea, takes a bunch of paper to do that), or just the classes you want.

The Setup Tab is where your car numbers are added and the iCard program files are kept.

The Ladder tab will have a ladder by class eventually, with a list of the qualifiers. Eventually I want the people right in front of you to be moved to the Watch List automatically.

His average for his first five qualifying runs was, your not going to believe this, 10.900. Jonathon Clark.

Only lost last race because we didn't believe the prediction. We Ran a 10.372 on a 10.374 prediction, unfortunately we Dialed a 10.40. We would have won if we had dialed what your software said to. Larry Bernshausen, a Super Gas and Super Comp racer, won the Gator Nationals in Super Gas. At the points race in Earlville Iowa, he ran a 9.901, 9.907, 9.905, and a 9.906 and finished runner up at both events over a 90 car field.
Crew Chief PRO nailed a perfect 8.900 for him in Super Comp at the same race. That was his first "Belt Buckle" in Super Comp.

Advanced Feature - Unlimited Database Combinations

Crew Chief PRO has the most powerful feature you could ever need. Combinations are separate databases. This will stop runs from one combination from contaminating runs from another combination, especially important when the ET, or in the case of Super Comp or Gas, your index is different.

Let's use an example here, say you run a super comp car with a 6000 stall converter that normally runs close to an 8.90 ET. At several tracks however, you cannot launch that hard or you will spin the tires past the 60ft mark. For these tracks you have to launch at 5200. If we change the launch RPM then the Throttle Stop Timer will change. If we keep ALL the runs together, then later we will not understand the different ETs. We should make a COMBINATION for both 6000 RPM LAUNCH SUPER COMP and one for 5200 LAUNCH SUPER COMP. We then store the runs for the 6000 LAUNCH separate from the 5200 LAUNCH. This way the Crew Chief Program understands the ET and Throttle Stop relationships and can accurately predict either the ET or the Throttle Stop Timers.

The power of the Crew Chief PRO software is each COMBINATION can have it's own ET and Throttle Stop formulas, default information, and component lists. We have settings for E.T. Bracket Racers, Class Racers (Super Stock, Comp), Super Gas/Comp/Street, or Professional Classes. Each type has slightly different data entry screens. Works Great For All Classes of Drag Racing, Even Jr. Dragsters!

The program will track each combination and can tell the racer which is better or more consistent. You can store an unlimited number of Combinations. This is useful if a racer has several different tune-ups for different track conditions. You can Name your combinations for easy reference to your tune up or weather. Great information 3 months later when you are trying to remember what you did to make the car respond.

See Similar Runs Analysis and Performance Summary Analysis

After an E.T. or Throttle Stop Prediction Crew Chief PRO automatically shows you all runs under the present combination that were +/- 200 Feet of the current corrected altitude. This is our "See Similar Runs Analysis" feature. When we predict an ET or Throttle Stop you can see for yourself what your vehicle has done under similar conditions. It's like another person helping you decide the final number.

We then show you a "Performance Summary Analysis" which is the Average for all your runs under the selected combination, then the Average for the last 5 Runs, then the Average for the last 3 Runs, and finally your Baseline Run. This data is listed in a Spread Sheet fashion and this allows you to spot TRENDS in performance. We DO NOT use Averages for Predictions, however, Crew Chief designers knew you wanted important, real world data for proper E.T. or Throttle Stop Predictions, these 2 features set us apart from anyone else. What good is a prediction without some "muscle" to back it up.

Then you can review your SPLIT TIME INTERVAL report to compare previous runs with the current runs. This report Automatically calculates Split Time Increment Intervals for 60Ft-330Ft, 330Ft-1/8th Mile, 1/8th-1000Ft, 1000Ft-1/4 Mile, 60Ft-1/4Mile, and 330Ft-1/4Mile to give you an excellent tuning tool and comparison to other runs. You can see and compare any number of runs with their Time Increment Intervals.Now when they call you up YOUR READY! These are Crew Chief PRO exclusive features. With Crew Chief PRO 2 and PRO 7.00 Pager Versions, you can link directly with the Paging type Weather Stations that we sell. This allows you to get predictions every 2 minutes right on your pager.
